The draft TAFE Queensland Reconciliation Action Plan has been developed to demonstrate TAFE Queensland's commitment to closing the gap to ensure our first Australians are afforded the same opportunities for learning and prosperity that everyone can enjoy in Australia.
This is TAFE Queensland's first Reconciliation Action Plan. It contains many of the building blocks required to achieve our vision for reconciliation.

A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) working group has been established comprised of a RAP champion (a member of the TAFE Queensland Executive) and staff representatives including managers, educators and services staff from each of TAFE Queensland's six regions. Staff who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander are represented on the RAP Working Group.
The RAP Working Group will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of the final TAFE Queensland Reconciliation Action Plan.
TAFE Queensland is seeking feedback from staff, students, training partners and the wider community on its draft Reconciliation Action Plan 2017-19.
